John William Baker
Minister to Students
John William Baker became the minister to students in August 2019. He grew up at FBCA and previously served as the youth interim in the summer of 2017. John William is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Master's of Theological Studies degree.
John William's goal in the student ministry at FBCA is to challenge students with the truths of the gospel, help students grow in their faith, and ultimately lead lost students to Christ.
John William married his wife, Haley, in April 2022. She is a vital part of his ministry to the students at FBCA. John William also enjoys fishing, Coca Cola Classic, and LA Burrito.
